It’s here! Our August 2016 Minecraft Mine Chest unboxing video and review.
Anyone who has tried to buy a gift for an 11-year-old boy can sympathize with me. Our 11-year-old had no idea what he wanted for his birthday. He loves Minecraft, and that is pretty much his life but I didn’t just want to buy him another Minecraft toy.
My husband stumbled upon Mine Chest.
What is Mine Chest?
Mine Chest is a subscription service from the people at Minecraft. So yes, this is an “official subscription box”. Each box comes with a few toys and a shirt – at least that is what we have experienced. Each box is themed and very well put together. In fact, we have had to lay down the law and say that he has to throw away some of the boxes (not the content but the actual boxes.) Our kid was planning on building who knows what – we don’t have room for these, kid!
Our son is wearing one of the Minecraft shirts in the photo below. It’s great that it’s bi-monthly so it’s always “new” and the shirts are good quality.
This was it! This was what we would buy our kid for his 11th birthday. He has loved each box he has received. Actually, the entire family (minus myself) has enjoyed playing with the various elements included in the subscription box.
I mentioned everyone, including my husband, plays this game – right? Well again, minus me 🙂 Anyways, here is a little bit about this subscription box.
What’s included in a Minecraft Mine Chest Subscription?
- 4-7 Official Minecraft items in every Chest.
- Includes toys, collectibles and apparel.
- Themes based on in-game locations.
How Often is it Delivered?
The Mine Chest is on a bi-monthly subscription. Your chests should arrive between the 5th and 15th of every even-numbered month.
