So here is the deal. I have been a long time electric pressure cooker user, but here is the lame info. I was only using my electric pressure cooker to cook rice.

Yes, it was the best, most amazing sushi rice ever – but that is IT. After a few years, that pressure cooker died so I decided to jump on the Instant Pot bandwagon to see what everyone was raving about. I get it, now.

There is just something about the ease of use on the Instant Pot that makes making Instant Pot recipes so darn easy. I mean, seriously – my 14-year-old is a regular IP user. I’ve taught the 12-year-old how to use it as well.

This device is used several times a week and has quickly become my favorite tech kitchen gadget. (Frozen chicken in 10 minutes? YES. The best sushi rice, ever? YES. POT ROAST IN HALF THE TIME? YES.)
