We’re reviewing a multi-purpose bluetooth cordless landline phone. Still relevant even in 2024!
I was at a friend’s house for the first time a few weeks ago. There were several of us gathered in her living room talking – when all of a sudden there was this ringing noise coming from various parts of her house. She jumps up – and answers her phone. OH. LAND LINE.
Panasonic Link2Cell Bluetooth Cordless Phone Review
Panasonic recently emailed me and we talked about cell phones and they introduced me to something that sparked my interest. It’s a BLUETOOTH cordless phone. Say, what??
Yes, the Panasonic bluetooth Link2Cell is a cordless phone system that operates with your cell phone. It ALSO works with a land line, so if you have one of those – you are good – and if you just have a cell – you are good.
Digital Mom Blog was sent a Panasonic Link2Cell KX-TG7742S telephone to review. Here’s what our thoughts are on this landline bluetooth phone.
You Don’t Need a Landline to Use This Bluetooth Phone
The Panasonic Link2Cell cordless phones harnesses the power of Bluetooth technology to combine the freedom of your cell phone with the convenience of a home phone.
Funny memes are our speciality!
While you can use both a landline and cell phone – you don’t have to have a landline! If you miss the old school days of talking on a cordless phone, this blutooth phone maybe the answer you are looking for.
If you do have both landline and cell phone, it is easy to flip back and forth between connection types allowing the Panasonic Link2Cell phone to serve whatever type of call you want to make.
No More Cell Phone Dead Spots
One of the greatest things about the Panasonic Link2Cell is if you have a dead spot in your home that your phone will not work on – you can use the cordless phone to still talk in that spot!
In our previous home, I use to get SOOO annoyed. There was a massive dead spot in our living room. Yes, I couldn’t talk on the phone in the living room – annoying!
Using the Link2Cell is super easy. Setup took around 5 minutes, the longest part is charging the cordless phone system for 7 hours. In a previous landline life – we only would use Panasonic cordless phones.
Panasonic phones have a great range, long battery life and are extremely durably. Remember, we have 4 kids – 2 of which are toddlers.
Testing out the phones, I was super excited. My husband, Sean has the base in his office – and I have a base in my office. Sean loves using the intercom feature, he presses a button on the base – and it calls the phone so he can talk to me, or the kids. Maybe we should buy another phone for my daughter’s room?
Shop Bluetooth Cordless Phones
You can connect 2 cell phones to the phone system. Each phone has a distinctive ring. I can call out from the cordless phone, just select CELL and it uses MY cell phone to make the call.
While we reviewing the Panasonic bluetooth cordless phone, there are still a variety of options in the market! Here are other cordless blutooth phones to shop.
Most have the same features as the Panasonic cordless phone, but offer different amounts of phones for the phone system.
Yes, back in the day every single room had a phone in it because we couldn’t carry our phones everywhere. Funny how times have changed.
