One of the first things that you see when you walk into our house is the Meural. While it’s easiest to describe it as a large frame digital picture frame, it is so much more.

A Statement Piece

A few weeks ago, the team at Meural sent us a Meural for our living room. Uhm. Wow. This device has totally changed the dynamic of our living room.

We’ve had Meural for the last few weeks. “M” as I’ll refer to her as, sits on a sofa tables – leaning against the wall next to a few of my succulents. She has given our living room a new and fresh vibe. Why? She is constantly changing the art in our room. Every time I walk in, it’s as if a new painting is decorating our space.

Side note: I am one of these people who changes my furniture around all the freaking time. I seriously can’t stand our living room being one way. Since Christmas, we have had 2 major re-arrange sessions. So this quirky tendency and need for change is why “M” is perfect for our home.

Horizontal or Vertical Viewing

Horizontal or vertical – whichever way you would like to view your M you can. M can be hung or like we did, leaned against the wall.

We used rubber stoppers on our sofa table to secure the digital canvas from slipping. We have 4 kids – and they’ve tested by knocking the table many times. Good news, totally secure!

Gesture Sensing

Meural has built-in gesture sensing. It’s simple and effortless.  You simply do a wave over the front of her frame and she will change the image. I love how the creator’s of M – developed the gesture sensing since you don’t handle art with your hands. Touch screen would have added fingerprints. No one wants fingerprints (especially us parents!)

Meural is controlled by an app. That’s right.

You can control the Meural digital canvas on both the Meural app, as well as your computer. The app lets you control all major features, and find new artwork for your space.
