We have been on and off subscribers to HULU since it’s inception. I loved the idea of not having to stress whether I had a show DVR’d or not and that just about all of network television was available with anytime access.

The streaming issue was definitely resolved. BUT, I admit – I was totally annoyed that I was paying for a service that still had commercials. Take it – $7.99 didn’t break the bank – it was still annoying.
I was stoked to see that HULU started offering a commercial-free option a few months back. For $4 more a month, I could watch shows Netflix style with no commercials (but they are current season TV shows!)
In addition to removing ads, Hulu without commercials also offers a few other benefits. For example, you can watch your shows offline, and you can create up to six user profiles. This is perfect for families or households with multiple people who want to watch different things.
Since upgrading, this has definitely upped our HULU playtime. We have our fave shows and since we don’t have cable in our bedroom – HULU is now our go to.

Something to note about the HULU No Commercial plan. The following shows do still show commercials due to rights issues: Greys Anatomy, Once Upon a Time, Marvels Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Scandal, Grimm, New Girl and How To Get Away With Murder.
