Here are my top 5 Technology Must Haves for Babies
5. A Web Enabled Baby Monitor
After searching for the ultimate baby monitor - we chose the Bambino Wireless Internet Baby Monitor. This monitor has a great reception, connects to my computer and who would of thunk... a baby monitor iPhone app - SOLD! We purchased out Bambino baby monitor at Amazon for $129 - it's now $99! Not too shabby.
4. A Crib MP3 Player
Our family loves music. The only music we can play, is Rock Band on the PS3 - but we can listen all day! Music has been a key in raising our children. With this handy dandy crib MP3 player, your baby can close his eyes and drift to sleep. We have the Rockabye Baby Lullaby Renditions of the Beatles on our little ones crib MP3 player.
3. A Wipe Warmer
Your baby's butt deserves the best. Treat your baby's booty to nice warm wipes via a Prince Lionheart Wipe Warmer. Sure, you may roll your eyes, but just think - you always want to give your kids what you don't have - and I bet you unless you are younger than a 2nd grader - your butt was NOT wiped by warm wipes. Your mom slapped wash cloths on your behind to do the cleaning. For $19.99 it's worth putting on your registry. We had a warmer with our 1st and 2nd and this is the best wipe warmer we have come across. It's very easy to maintain and the wipes are not too hot.
2. TextHook Stroller Smartphone Holder
Working off those baby pounds? I hear ya sister. That cute little 7lb 6oz baby didn't take all it's weight with him when departing my body. He forgot about 40 lbs. So walking leaves you in an awkward situation on where to put your phone. So put your new iPhone 4G or any other smartphone into this brilliantly designed stroller phone holder - made for your stroller. The Texthook Stroller Smartphone Holder is sure to keep you occupied while hitting the concrete with the bambino!
1. A Good DSLR Camera
A good DSLR Camera will create a whole new experience for your child. This is the first child that I've owned a DSLR at birth. My poor 3rd child has retina burn out from the photos i've taken of him I personally own a Canon 40D - which I absolutely love. If I were purchasing new today, I would definately take a look at the Canon EOS Rebel T1i. It's priced right at $699 - HALF of what the 40D cost me! The Canon Rebel Tl1 boasts 15.1 MP, a 3-Inch LCD and you can get bundled with a EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens. To top all of that off - the Rebel Tli offers HD video. Yep, you can get those darling goo goo gah gahs in 1920 x 1080 resolution.
In all seriousness, the photos you can capture via a DSLR are priceless. We haven't thrown money at a portrait studio with this kid, we're able to create our own experiences, not staged every day that are priceless and well shot. Thank you Canon 40D! (I have since upgraded to a Canon 60D)
