Mega Millions lottery drawing happens twice a week. On both Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 p.m. EST, five white ball numbers and the gold Megaball number are drawn.
If your 5 numbers and 1 Megaball number match, you win! There are eight other ways to match and win prizes up to $1 million.
To play, you pick your numbers from 1 to 70 and one “megaball” number from 1 to 25. There is an option to quick pick, which auto generates random lotto number picks for you.
Each time you play Mega Millions, it will cost you $2 a ticket. For an additional $1, you can buy the Megaplier option to multiply all non-jackpot winnings by the Megaplier number selected.
The megaplier numbers are 2, 3, 4 or 5. Make sure to sign the back of your Mega Millions ticket and secure it.
