Sitting 6+ hours per day makes you up ot 40% likelier to die within 15 than someone who sits less than 3. That’s even if you exercise. Medical billing and coding presented this information. As someone who sits for work, I hope that this isn’t all factual but agree we all need to move more.
I’ve taken this infographic’s advice and moved my chair to a 135 degree angle – it’s helped my back significantly! I’ve been doing this for a week and have not had any backpain.
