Jamie Grace Harper

A few years ago I was checking thru Google Alerts for work and found a video from one Jamie Grace Harper.  She had made a video about The Revolve Tour and posted to YouTube. Now fast forward – she is on tour with us, and cracks me UP.  Jamie Grace is a natural talent and ball of fun.  I am so glad to know her.  This week she’s talking about Setting Priorities on revolvetour.com.  Plus, I am happy to know inside scoop about something EPIC going on in her life right now. (Wanna hear something crazy? She’s 18 and in her 3rd year of college.)

Best Team EVER!

Have I mentioned how great of a team I work with? After a nice long stretch of meetings yesterday, I returned to my desk and found *drum roll please*

THESE! So sweet and kind of them.Plus it came with a cute kitty card because they know i heart LOL cats (2-d not 3-d cats – hint hint please don’t ever buy me a real cat – my dog would eat it, read on to view pic).

And Life Outside of Work

Sit Baby Sit. Good Boy!

After months of Googling WHEN DOES BABY SIT UP – because silly little things like that seem to slip my memory even though I had 2 kids before this one.  It appears the age to be is right about 6 months, well at least for this kid of mine.

So now Izaiah can now sit for numerous minutes at a time before face planting! WOOHOO! and I am ONLY woohooing because I am trying to be positive about the fact that my little one is growing up. So woo-freakin’-hoo.

Yes, he melts my heart. NO, this isn’t a picture of him sitting up.
And YES, I let him ride around in the front seat without a seat belt all while I snap photos with the iPhone. And that would be me KIDDING people. 🙂

Only 3 Notes Home!

One child is having a slight problem talking again this year. We have had 3 notes home this week from the teacher.  Sigh.  Maybe I should pray for laryngitis during school hours.

Sleep

I have a half day off today (I really shouldn’t be blogging) – plus NO major plans this weekend and that makes me happy.

That being said – if you have my number and call me on Saturday before 1 pm, I shall sick my overweight Pug after you and have him slobber on your face. This mom needs SLEEP.

pugMeet my overweight pug, Animal. He has a face only his mother can love.
And we don’t know where she is.

Wowzerz!

Thursday night over dinner, my sister and I decided to join forces to conquer the world. While this is random now, it shouldn’t be in the near future. 🙂

Disclaimer: yep, I work for The Revolve Tour and Women of Faith. Opinions expressed here are those of my own and not my employer.

TGIF!

I asked the 30+ girls our church took to Revolve 2011 in Atlanta, “Who was the most famous person at Revolve?” They answered… “Not Jesus!” My girls went crazy because personal responsibility for sin was ignored, repentance was skipped, and the gospel was only half explained. They wanted to sing and praise Jesus for the freedom He had given them, but heard little to nothing of Him. One of my girls said, “I have spent my whole life ‘bumping’ into the people of earth… I want to see and celebrate Jesus in heaven.”

Sorry, but this year’s Tour didn’t glorify God by exalting His Son.
