Y’all – I LOVE me some Pinterest – but I have to say, some of these crafts are costing me an arm and a leg. On top of that, I don’t know about you – but I just don’t have all of the time in the world. SOOO, that being said – I thought would share a Pinterest hack with you.
See this darling Thanks Banner?
I made this for $3 in less than 15 minutes. I am so not kidding. Wanna know my secret?
This burlap banner was $3 at the Target Dollar Spot. THREE DOLLARS – PRE-SEWN – PRE-CUT – EASY PEASY PEOPLE!
So anyway, I saw this at Target and thought there is no way I was going to pass this up. I have a group of gals that made something similar last year and it was a night full of cutting, sewing and well I am sure wine – but I am looking for simple and this ladies is SIMPLE.
The burlap banner is blank – as in there are various patterns on the burlap but there is no lettering. No letters, no problem.
Just simply type the words THANKS and print.
Print, cut and then glue your letters on to your banner – in a matter of minutes you have a Thanks Banner that looks Pinterest-worthy that you don’t have to tell anyone that it only took 15 minutes to make. Just let them think you slaved thru the store for fabric, cut the fabric, sewed the fabric and so on. $3 people. So worth it!
BONUS – I do plan on making this say MERRY! or NOEL or something Christmasy in 2 weeks. AND….
It makes a FABULOUS Thanksgiving photo prop!
