We are talking Happy Feet Two app today – those adorable penguins are now available on iOS!
Happy Feet Two App Available for iPhone, iPod and iPad
Let Mumble and his musical friends in the Antarctic tap their way into your iDevice with the new Happy Feet Two app. Available for free on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, this app brings the movie alive.
Happy Feet Two App Features:
- Second Screen
- Talking Penguin
- Coloring Book
The second screen feature is a really neat function of the Happy Feet 2 app. You can sync your Happy Feet Two Blu-ray movie to work with the app. This happens via wi-fi or by using the listening mode. While you watch the movie – the app syncs with the timing of the show becoming a second screen displaying features and snippets. My kids loved watching the choreographer demonstrate how to walk like a penguin.
The talking penguin feature gives you a virtual pet penguin (my daughter says this penguin is Erik!). You can talk to him, and he’ll repeat what you say. You can feed Erik fish, tickle him and make him dance.
You can also play a game of copy cat on the drums and record from the app. See below my Happy Feet Two video from the app below:
The coloring book features offers several photos for your child to virtually color. They can shake to erase as well as save their coloring creation to the gallery.
The Happy Feet Two blu-ray released on March 13th. Amazon has a killer deal for the blu-ray combo featuring Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital copy for $22.99 (regularly price $35.99).
Thanks to Warner Brothers for sending us the Happy Feet Two Blu-ray combo. This made for a great family movie night while the kids were on Spring Break! The 3d is amazing with this movie and the kids loved playing with the app through-out the movie.
