After playing with a friends Nintendo DS, many years ago – our daughter, than 6 declared we needed to go to the store and buy her one. It was May. Her birthday had passed and no holidays in sight, we told her she could earn one, but we wouldn’t be buying her one for no reason.
save on these nintendo video games!
That summer, we made a chart and she worked her butt off doing 6 year old chores. She did it! That was over 5 years ago and the Nintendo DS still works. Eventually we added a few more Nintendos to our tech collection for our boys. These devices are WELL loved on (and handled poorly, buy a Nerf case – they are a device saver I tell you!) – but they last and despite whatever “new” thing comes out – there seems to always be a Nintendo DS charging on our charging station.
If your kids love their Nintendo gaming systems – then this post is for you.. Here is a round up of the latest Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS game deals. Imagine Babyz for just $6.85! These game titles are all under $20 and make great birthday gifts, or if you are a planner – Easter basket stuffers. Or another idea – is something for your kid to spend their allowance on. I’ll take a $7 game over 7 toys from the Dollar store ANYDAY!
We announced last week a new feature on Digital Mom Blog. We are providing weekly updates of the best video game deals. Some of our top posts feature video games and we want to make sure you know about the best deals when it comes to purchasing them!
This week’s deals feature Battlefield 4, SpongeBob SquarePants, Ben 10, Guilty Party, Lego Rock Band, My Little Pony, Lalaloopsy, Wii Active 2 Personal Trainer, Bakugan and miCoach from Adidas.
As I mentioned before, if you see a good deal – I always try to snap it up – with 4 kids we seem to always have a birthday, or birthday party! These also make great incentive prizes. My kids will actually do work for more screen time and new video games!
So you downloaded it and now are trying to find cheats for the Flappy Bird app. This silly little app is wildly popular now and is annoying as all hell. Why? Because you can’t get FAR!
This app is the current NUMBER 1 APP for ANDROID AND iOS! With that kind of ranking, you know there has to be SOMETHING special about this game right?
Side note: Is it me, or have you also noticed the trend of popular games featuring flying birds??
What is It and How to Play Flappy Bird
Flappy Bird is a simple game which you tap the screen and make the bird fly through various pipes.
Tap the screen to fly. Avoid all of the pipes and try to get 1 of the 4 medals: Bronze, Silver, Gold (hard), Platinum (very hard).
If you hit the pipes or the ground, you die – so good luck with that not hitting the pipes thing!
Flappy Bird Tips
If you are looking for Flappy Bird cheats, sorry – as of right now there are no public obvious cheats but believe me – we will post them here as soon as we hear of any! But TIPS! We got tips! Here you go:
Use your pointer finger – your thumb is too slow dude!
Find your rhythm. Sounds stupid, but successful flapping has a rhythm.
If you start to get upset, QUIT THE GAME. Don’t let the stupid flappy bird get you down.
Starting with the smaller pipes seems to give better opportunity for advancement.
If you experience finger strain from tapping on your iPhone screen – do the following. Find the game icon on your smart phone screen. Click and hold the icon. When the “X” appears – click it. Yes, you may have just deleted the game but you won’t have any more finger strain issues from playing it either.
If you have a Flappy Bird TIP or TRICK – LEAVE in the comments and we will add to the tip list!
