I’m in good ol’ NASHVILLE, TN (my home away from home now adays) enjoying the Blissdom Conference at the Gaylord Opryland this week. It’s 3 days full of learning and connecting with other bloggers. HOW FUN!
What makes me happier then talking blogs all week? Traveling with my step-brother, partner-in-crime – THE Nicole Fain!
This is the second time I’ve stayed here, the first being last year at Blissdom. After the flood renovations – all I can say is WOW! Every thing is so new and top notch – such an unfortunate situation that has given this hotel a new life.
Wisdom Workshop – The Ultimate Beginner’s Toolkit
Wednesday, I had the pleasure of speaking with Heather Solos from Home-ec101.com for the Ultimate Beginner’s Toolkit Workshop. We gave beginner bloggers an open forum to ask anything they wanted to know that we could possibly know or find out the answer for in regards to SEO, blogging and connecting. It was 2 hours of interactive fun. I love connecting with others who have the same passion as myself.
Loveless Cafe – Can I Get an AMEN?
Fain and I snuck off and decided to try out the infamous LOVELESS CAFE. And OMGO – this place make baby happy. If you are in the Nashville area, this place is southern food that makes you say NOM. NOM.
Blissdom Kick-Off Party
Wednesday night, we hit up the Blissdom PARTY and by PARTY for a 13-weeks pregnant woman – that means buffet line with a Shirley Temple from the bar. And I am so not kidding with that.
Good friends, old and new and lots of laughter, then finding out the kids went to bed before I can talk to them. CRY! AND carrying around a good camera (rather than sorry iPhone camera) without a memory card – big WHOOPS.
Home Sweet Home
Missing the kids terribly. Back is in pain. Sleep is needed, but embracing the experience and soaking in all there is to learn.
See you tomorrow BLISSDOM friends! I won’t forget that SD card tomorrow!
