So of COURSE I would love to have an iPad. In all honesty, I have no NEED for it and in an effort to sort out wants and needs – this will have to fall to the “dreaming about” list rather than the shopping list. OR if you would love to sponsor this Digital Mom with an iPad, shoot me an email (don’t hate a gal for trying! molly at digitalmomblog.com)
That being said, it doesn’t stop me from lusting over iPad apps.
Check out Alice for the iPad. Described as a modern day pop-up book, While the book isn’t geared towards adults, it seems adults can’t get enough of this app.

This is a stunning treasure for the whole family to enjoy. It’s time to get your hands on Alice for iPad, one of the most gorgeous apps this year.
This is the beginning of innovative development for tablets. Creating these applications for the iPad, Slate and other tablets is ground breaking. Innovation like this will keep young readers interested and those with A.D.D. amused.
My only fear is the durability of the iPad, Slate, etc. with my kids. I know what their Leapster and Nintendo DS look like and those are built for kids.
The Alice app is available for $9 or as a free “lite” version.
