abc Notes App Review

The ABC Notes app was introduced to me of all random places, Instagram! Thanks to Heather over at Homemade Mom for posting! She keeps her to do list on her lock screen on the iPhone so it’s always in front of her. SMARTNESS!

Here is an overview of abc Notes

abcNotes was designed to become your stylish and highly customizable, functional and easy to use assistant in taking notes and managing To Do lists. It takes advantage of unique iOS devices touchscreen preserving realistic look & feel of paper sticky notes.

Wait, isn’t that what the “notes” app built into iOS is for? Well yes, but there are a few things that make the ABC Notes app stand out:

  • Easily update your desktop screen with a photo OR one of your notes
  • Easy way to keep your to do list in front of your face
On the paid version, you are able to use synchronization which is essential if you are using more than 1 device regularly.

There are some annoying things about the app:

  • The free version has ads, which is fine but when you go to take a photo of your notes – you get the ads with it
  • Too many functions – apps need to keep it simple.
I can see this app being more usable on the iPad vs your iPhone.

abc Notes app is available for the Apple iPhone and iPad – in both free and paid ($2.99) versions.

My preference for note taking, Evernote.
