Words of Wisdom – Live Life Like a Child

Today let’s concentrate on being happy. Live life like a child! If you can capture the spirit of a child, life becomes much easier. Never let life’s pressure bring you down! This is the day that the Lord has made – we will rejoice and be glad in it!
-Rev Run

This morning, we all got out of the house extra early and met up at Starbucks. Sean and I sat and enjoyed breakfast with the kiddos. As I sipped my white mocha praying for the caffeine to kick in, my kids were already living the day. They spoke of their dreams, noticed bugs, didn’t stop laughing or smiling and they were ready to start the day. Z informed me, “today is going to be a good day”. I love her attitude.

I arrived at the office, ran thru my to do and as my daily routine goes – I opened up Words of Wisdom from Rev Run and the quote above spoke to me.

I need to step back and remember to enjoy life like a child. Look at things from a new perspective and enjoy the day from sunrise to sunset. Each day is a good day. I am overly blessed. Thank you Lord for this life, please remind me to enjoy life like my children do.
