Today, my 18 month old baby celebrated his half birthday. We made green cake balls and ate mexican food! I chased Izaiah around to get a photo of him and his cake ball, but by the time I got him to stay still, the cake ball was gone. The story of Izaiah’s life! This kid does NOT start.
Izaiah is the funniest kid I know. He is interested in the world, a little too much and his way too smart for his age. The last several months, he has sprouted a few inches and now looks like a 3-year old. He’s wearing 3T clothes and anytime I see him next to our new baby Zeke, I get sad thinking about how quickly his babyhood has passed.
When we found out Izaiah was a boy, we decided to decorate his nursery in sock monkeys. When finding loot for the room, I came across this HUGE 4 foot sock monkey and knew it would be perfect for taking monthly photos. And that we did. For ALMOST a year (I missed a month, or have the photo lost on one of our computers!) – took photos of Izaiah monthly with his monkey. Today I was able to get him to stay still enough so that I could add an 18 month photo to the mix.
Izaiah, stop growing.. please.
Thanks.
Love,
Mom
