Leave Your Final Words on Facebook After You Die

if i die facebook app

I really hate death. Yes, I do believe the afterlife is much greater than this Earth, but that’s about the only positive I can think in regards to the end.

Unfortunately death is inevitable. Over the last few years, since the surge of Facebook I have had friends and acquaintances pass away and have watched as their Facebook profiles become an online memory of their life. In some ways it’s endearing, others incredibly sad. Especially when someone’s death is sudden and their last status update is right there, at the time they didn’t know the end was near.

Well, apparently I’m not the only one who noticed this. A company has created a Facebook app called “If I Die” or ifidie – which really should be called When I Die but that’s their poor marketing call.

Part of me is thinking MORBID, then reality hits and as sad as this seems it could mean the world to someone. I can’t get myself to do it. Not publicly like this, but maybe creating a private video.
