Dear Photograph – take a picture of a picture from the past in the present.
Have you ever looked at a photo and wanted to travel back to that moment in time? What if you did, but in a current sense. Confusing?
Dear Photograph is a web site that brings together photos of memories of the past and mixes it with the present, with a short letter to the photograph about the memory.
This artistic project reminds me of Postsecrets in a way, but with a more personal angle.
This Dear Photograph note has received over 65k comments. Watch the video below where Diane Sawyer talks with the man in the photo. The photo is of his late wife.
