Dead Social – Learn How to Tweet and Facebook After You Die
Dead Social allows you to post to Facebook and Twitter when you die. As someone with a silly sense of humor – my husband and loved ones can now expect many tweets and Facebook posts in the event that I die.

How does Dead Social work? First sign up for a free account. Dead Social will need access to your social media accounts. From the looks of the dashboard, this is still a work in progress. Soon there will be how-to videos, they better hurry up as people die every day.
You can post Tweets, Facebook posts, photos (oh this could be FUN!) – but the only thing, I’m still trying to figure out when these posts. I can just see me setting several of these up and then by my mistake these post to Facebook from Dead Social. Next thing you know my mom is calling my husband crying asking how I died. Other than that, I love this idea.
How Dead Social Works
- Send messages directly to your private Facebook, Twitter & Linkedin account
- Send out a final message and / or a series of scheduled messages
- Release unseen video and audio messages
- DeadSocial is totally free and will remain free to use.
Overall thoughts: This is definitely in beta but can see how this could mean a lot to someone. Recently a cousin of mine passed. This Valentine’s day his wife received flowers from him. He has made sure she was taken care of and it meant the world to her, so I can see how something like this could really touch someone who is grieving (though some it may drive crazy).

This is hilarious! I also have a silly sense of humor and definitely see the potential humor in this. I would say that it would definitely need to be used with care, though. After all, a silly postmortem post now may not be so funny if you are really and truly gone. That being said, I think you can expect an “I told you I was sick” to surface about a week after I’m dead and gone!

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year
