Beta Release – Angry Birds Lite

Angry Birds lite is available on in the Android market starting today.  The full version, which will most likely be a paid app – is currently in beta.

In regards to the beta release, Rovio (creators of Angry Birds) released the following:

Please note that this will be the beta version of the application which is still undergoing final testing before official release. Angry Birds Lite Beta is presented on an “as is” basis, and we cannot guarantee its functionality on every Android device.

#1 Selling iPhone Game

Angry Birds, the #1 selling game on the iPhone – iOS is making it’s way to Android webOS.  Angry Birds, created by Rovio released in 2009 and has continued to gain popularity.  News of Angry Birds on Android should only increase sales of the game once it hits paid status on the Android market.
