30 weeks belly pic from the darling Stephanie. Before you ask, it’s Stephanie who is 30 weeks pregnant – not Molly. But to all of Molly’s friends who think #5 on the way – dream on.
Stephanie is 30 weeks pregnant and in just 9 weeks Madden will be making her appearance! Why 9 weeks? No, Stephanie says she is not inducing – but she is making a brave journey in a 11-hour car ride over Thanksgiving to visit the family in Texas. 11 hours in a car, Madden must arrive in Texas (no offense to Madden’s lovely doctor but this Aunt believes that all good babies should be born here). Stephanie is a born Texan but her evil husband (my husband’s brother) moved the family far away – that’s another story but this story is how there is no way she is having that baby anywhere but here and we are so excited!
This week marks her last time traveling by plane, and thankfully that trip has her coming to Texas!
What’s up in pregnancy world at 30 weeks in the words of Baby Gaga
Woohoo! You can finally see the finish line now that you’re in the final quarter of the race!!!
Whether you felt like your pregnancy’s been flying by or slower than a snail scaling Everest, you’ve arrived in your thirtieth week and your baby’s cookin’ beautifully!
In animal news: the fine lanugo hair that covers their little monkey-like body will start falling off this week in preparation for the big day.
Still, don’t be too shocked if your baby ape is hairier than you’d anticipated. Some babies keep their lanugo after birth – which is totally normal, and it will fall off eventually.
Checking in on the fat factory: your little porker is getting even cuter with increasingly pudgy arms and legs, thanks to their ever-growing layers of subcutaneous brown fat.
In terms of numbers, your big ol’ baby should be weighing in at around 3 pounds 12 ounces (or more!) and be nearly 16 inches long!
Keep up the good work you two!
This week’s pregnancy product review is the Bella B Tummy Honey Butter Stretch Mark Cream, compliments of our friends at Due Maternity.
What does our preggo think about Tummy Honey Butter?
I hate stretch mark creams. Most are oily and seem to never soak in the skin. Not Tummy Honey Butter! I love this stuff. It smells wonderful and the non-greasy, natural/organic formula leaves your skin feeling great.
