In the womb:
The grow must go on! No wonder you’re getting so big, you’re now housing a wonder-baby who weighs nearly a pound and measures nearly a foot in length.
All this girth and the friggin’ child is only a pound. I think I am going to go cry now. (I’m serious. I am pregnant and can cry at the thought of ANYTHING.)
Sleep has returned to being my BFF. For about 2 weeks I was having an awful time not resting, but that is no longer a problem. My biggest issue is my daughter touching my belly NON-STOP. ”IS THE BABY HERE? OH I FEEL HIM. IS THAT HIS HEAD?”
As if that isn’t weird (she does it at least 10x a day). I went to her school program and this little kid – guessing 4, who was there watching his sibling. His Mom and Dad were out of sight, and the dude would NOT stop touching my belly. I first moved. That wasn’t enough, I finally politely said “do not touch”. He still touched, but thankfully it was time to leave. awkward.
Anywhoo – 18 weeks. Nursery in process. And yes, baby boy blue will have a heart on his crib. He’ll get over it.
