The husband’s “big” gift this year came early. I KNEW he had bought me a panini press and I totally was in the mood for paninis the other night so I sweet talked him into an early gift exchange. I surprised him with a Keurig – thank you QVC (no, I am not kidding. leave me alone and don’t judge they had this puppy for a good deal).
We are frequent money wasters at Starbucks. I hate more than anything spending $4.78 on a latte. But seeing that my Starbucks drink MUST contain a heroin type substance that keeps me coming back, what’s a girl to do?
For about 50 cents a cup, my hubs made me a seriously bad a$$ latte. It took less than a minute, tasted delicious and did I mention how cheap it was? I’m in love. And it makes hot chocolate. So, what if – maybe I selfishly wanted this gizmo as well.
The other great thing? No more nasty gross coffee pot sitting there waiting to be cleaned. That alone is worth it.

The Keurigs are super convenient, and compared to the cost of a cup of Starbucks, is much much cheaper! There are several blogs on the web doing some cool analysis of the costs of K-Cups over time vs regular Starbucks etc. And if you use te My K-Cup then it makes Keurig Coffee even cheaper!
Great Christmas gifts (paninis – yumm!)
I have to say, I love your blog. Could tell me how I could keeping up to date with it?
