The Final Trimester
Today marks the beginning of the end. 12 weeks left until our little bambino arrives. I can’t wait to see his little face and count his 3 eyes and 11 toes. I am sure the extra eye and toe have developed due to my drinking of caffeine. Don’t worry – we’ll pay to have them removed. How fast the last 28 weeks have flown. Even though I am as large as a house, I love being pregnant. Maybe … Read entire article »

In Car WiFi – Ford Motor Company, I Love You.
I drive a Ford. To be honest, I’ve never really been a brand loyalist when it comes to cars. My last car was a Honda, the one before a Chevrolet. As our family started to grow we bought an Expedition and its suited us just perfectly. We LOVE road trips, which means we need room and its a comfortable ride. The kids have their space, we have ours and there is ample room for changing … Read entire article »

Achoo
Can I rant for a minute? This is day 16 of the coughing, sneezing, scratchy throat, dry mouth, fatigue CRUD. I can’t sleep due to constantly needing water – which then in turn makes me pee. Santa, for Christmas – can you just make me well? Please, before the last few weeks of pregnancy kick in and I have a REAL reason to rant? Thanks. … Read entire article »
Digital Mom Product Review – Keurig
The husband’s “big” gift this year came early. I KNEW he had bought me a panini press and I totally was in the mood for paninis the other night so I sweet talked him into an early gift exchange. I surprised him with a Keurig – thank you QVC (no, I am not kidding. leave me alone and don’t judge they had this puppy for a good deal). We are frequent money wasters at Starbucks. I … Read entire article »

Merry Christmas Strangers
I was doing my weekly read-thru of Post Secret to stop upon the postcard below. How true this is. “I’m much happier buying gifts for needy and thankful strangers than my own ungrateful relatives. Merry Christmas, Strangers!” Amen. This is by far the best change I’ve made in our lives this year. Don’t worry ungrateful relatives – we still bought for you, just not as much. Give more to others. It just might change you. Try it. Double dog … Read entire article »

And So The Nesting BEGINS.
Next week, I officially begin my 3rd trimester. Our little boy will be here before we know it and my freaking psycho pregnancy need to nest mind set is in full force. Last week it was the start of the nursery. Knowing that this week is the last week I will have off before having to hit the pavement hard with the upcoming season at work before my maternity leave – there isn’t any other time … Read entire article »

R.I.P. My Dearest iPhone
Mad, sad and gloomy. For the last 11 days, I’ve not only been fighting off bronchitis – but grieving the loss of my iPhone. It’s all so silly – it makes me want to pull out my hair. I somehow lost my iPhone between my car and my house on December 10th. It’s no where to be found. I am devastated. I’ve retraced my steps a millions times. Thursday, December 10th. Left work at 4 pm Went to Care Now … Read entire article »

Basecamp, How Happy & Productive You Make Me
As we close the year and a slew of new things are upon the digital team at work, I threw my hands in the air and said a quick little prayer for some help. Jesus must of been listening because a light appeared and my computer instantly typed 37signals.com. Okay, just kidding – but in all seriousness 37 Signals project management application, Basecamp has made my week peachy. A few years back, I heard Jason Fried talk … Read entire article »
