Music Monday – John Mayer
Hello John Mayer. John just released a new album, Battle Studies - a few weeks back that I got my hands on last week. SO Super. In typical John Mayer fashion he blows it out of the park. Though, as I listen to each song I think – did he write this about Jessica, or Jennifer? Poor guy – those looks, that talent – i’m sure he’ll end up just fine. … Read entire article »

Music Monday – Rufus Wainwright
So, thank you PANDORA for yet ANOTHER great find. Meet Rufus Wainwright, if you don’t already know him -- of course. I don’t know where he has been hiding all of my music lovin’ life -- but his sultry voice, smooth style and hip hair is something I am glad I finally met. 22 Weeks
In the womb: The grow must go on! No wonder you’re getting so big, you’re now housing a wonder-baby who weighs nearly a pound and measures nearly a foot in length. All this girth and the friggin’ child is only a pound. I think I am going to go cry now. (I’m serious. I am pregnant and can cry at the thought of ANYTHING.) Sleep has returned to being my BFF. For about 2 weeks I was having … Read entire article »

The One & Only…. Bobo
Our family has 3 dogs. In a previous life (before kids), these were our children. We did everything with them. It was really actually pathetic, and I admit that I should probably of been sending money to kids who needed to do things like EAT rather than luxurying up the life of my pups. Oh well, we all make mistakes. Of the 3 dogs, our first dog Bobo has always been nearest and dearest to my hearts. (Dear … Read entire article »
Austin Has My Heart
I love Austin, TX. Fortunately, we live about 3 hours north so are able to frequent often. This weekend, we drove down yesterday, stopped for bubble tea at our fave hole-in-the-wall, enjoyed San Marcos, great mexican food and good conversation with Sean’s sister and brother-in-law, went to a great GRACE based church, chowed at Magnolia Cafe and enjoyed the fab weather. All in 24 hours. Now we’re headed home to the big D. (Yes, I am blogging … Read entire article »

Innocence
So me not thinking is listening to NPR on the drive home with my boy. We pull into the neighborhood and NPR is talking about the massacre at Ft. Hood. “13 Live Lost.” “Mommy, how do you lose you life? Did they die, Mommy? Mommy that’s not good.” Oh sweet innocent E – how I wish I could shelter you from all evil and maintain your sweetness forever and ever. … Read entire article »
