Like a Turtle Stuck on It’s Back.
I feel like a turtle stuck on it’s back. Day 4 in bed and if I wasn’t working 12 hours a day, I would be going nuts. The herniated disc hates me. The mornings are awful since the medicine has worn off by the time I wake up. Thru-out the day I still am feeling muscle spasms and numb electric shocks down to my toes. At least this reminds me to not take sitting up for … Read entire article »

When the disc ruptures, a portion of the spinal disc pushes outside its normal boundary–this is called a herniated disc. When a herniated disc bulges out from between the vertebrae, the spinal nerves … Read entire article »

Learning That Change is Good
If nothing ever changed, there’d be no butterflies. ~Author Unknown My 4 year old has a very HARD time with change. Oh RATS!
Tonight was dinner with the art group. I’m stuck in the middle of an extra long booth between 2 people I don’t know very well. Out of the corner of my eye, I see it. A rat scurring across the restaurant floor, under a table to a booth maybe 10 feet away from me. YUCK. If there is 1 thing I can’t do -- it’s RATS. They gross me out to no end. Mice are included in … Read entire article »
